MELK ABBEY £21

Discover one of the world’s most famous monastic sites – Melk Abbey. Our guided tour shows you highlights such as the magnificent Marble Hall, Emperor’s Gallery and Abbey Church. There is also free time to explore the grounds and the gardens.

 

ACTIVITIES REQUIRED (1 hour):
There is an option of a coach to take you to the Abbey or a short walk of 10-15 minutes
Once the coach has parked there are 50 steps or a lift down to the bottom
Once the tour is finished there is a spiral staircase (with rails) to enter the church and exit
Then they can walk into the town down a hill and back to the ship (it’s easy to get to and about 10-15 mins)

 

VIENNA CITY TOUR £25



This is the perfect introduction to Vienna, the city of music. Our coach tour with guide focuses on the historic centre and its rich architecture.

SCHONBRUNN PALACE £35

This is a wonderful opportunity to see inside the luxurious interiors of Schönbrunn Palace and explore some of the 1,441 luxurious rooms. Highlights include the Great Gallery, the Chinese Cabinets and Emperor Franz Joseph’s private suite.

ACTIVITIES REQUIRED (4 hours):

Around 1 hour to get to the Palace
A lot of walking around the house and gardens
Plenty of benches and cafe’s or food and drink hut’s
1,441 rooms in total but we only see 22 of them
There are a couple of seats in each room if you need to sit down
You have 2 hours there at the palace and gardens

BUDAPEST CITY TOUR £21

Accompanied by a local guide, we discover the architectural gem of Budapest. Our coach city tour takes in some of the most beautiful areas, including Heroes Square, which is home to the iconic statue complex of the Millennium Memorial.

You get to see both sides Buda and Pest
When arriving in Pest you get off the coach with a steep walk up a hill to Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion (sea wall) for the stunning view of Budapest

BUDAPEST BY NIGHT £35

See this beautiful city light up against the night sky. Experience a piece of Hungarian culture at a folklore show and enjoy gypsy music and dancing with a glass of schnapps before taking a tour to admire the night-time views.

ACTIVITIES REQUIRED :
Suitable for all passengers.   Passengers are taken (by coach) to a view point and can walk a few yards for the view over Budapest or stay on the coach.

 

PUSZTA HORSE SHOW £36

We travel through the sweeping plains of Hungary to Lajosmizse, where we visit a traditional stud farm. We take a tour of the grounds in a horse-drawn carriage, before watching a spectacular live show performed in an open air arena.

ACTIVITIES REQUIRED ( 4 hours):
It takes 1 hour to get to the ranch by coach with a guide
Horse and carriage ride for 20 minutes
Seated for the horse show that lasts around 45 mins-1 hour
Walk a short distance to the stables and museum with a tour of both

BRATISLAVA CITY TOUR £24

Explore the charming squares, courtyards and narrow lanes of Bratislava with the help of our guide. Our 2 ½ hour walking tour features interior visits to the city’s largest church, St Martin’s Cathedral, and Primate’s Palace.

ACTIVITIES REQUIRED (2 hours):
You are moored very close to the town so no coach provided but there is a guide
Around a 2 hours walking in total
There is a steep slope to get to the Cathedral (not suitable for wheelchair users) and steep steps around 15 to get to the Cathedral
