Day One: Mon 3rd July BUDAPEST, HUNGARY
Board your cruise in Budapest. Tonight, meet your fellow passengers at the Welcome Dinner as the ship cruises to Bratislava.
Day Two: Tues 4th July BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA
This afternoon, arrive in Bratislava, capital of Slovakia. Enjoy a walking tour of the city’s major sites, including the Old Town Hall, Mirbach Palace and Gothic St. Martin’s Cathedral. Spend your evening in Bratislava before the ship cruises to magnificent Vienna later tonight.
Day Three: Wed 5th July VIENNA, AUSTRIA
A panoramic tour of Vienna guides you past the majestic Opera House, the former Imperial Palace of the Hapsburg Emperors, Parliament, Town Hall and Vienna University. Afterwards, you will visit Vienna’s historic city center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and see St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Graben and the World Famous Spanish Riding School. You are free to explore on your own this afternoon, so be sure to sample some Viennese coffee and pastries
Day Four: Thu 6th July DÜRNSTEIN – MELK
After reaching the Wachau Valley early this morning, you will have three tour options: A walking tour along Dürnstein’s cobblestone streets followed by a wine tasting, a hike up to the fortress where Richard the Lionheart was once held for ransom, or an apricots and sweets tasting. Later, relax on board during a scenic cruise through the beautiful Wachau Valley or join a guided bike tour along the Danube to Melk. Your ship arrives late this afternoon in Melk, one of Europe’s most renowned spiritual and cultural heritage sites, where you will tour its spectacular Benedictine Abbey. Afterwards, enjoy free time to explore the charming town of Melk on your own
Day Five: Fri 7th July PASSAU, GERMANY
Arrive in Passau, a 2,000-year-old city noted for its Gothic and Baroque architecture. You can explore this charming city on a walking tour, guided bike ride or on a hike up to the Veste Oberhaus Fortress. The ship cruises overnight
Day Six: Sat 8th July REGENSBURG
This afternoon, the ship arrives in Regensburg, one of Germany’s best-preserved medieval cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You have your choice of one of three tours this afternoon. Your first option is a guided walking tour of the city’s architectural highlights, including the Old Town Hall and the Porta Praetoria, the gates to an ancient Roman fort built in 179 A.D. Your second option is an opportunity to sample the city’s most renowned specialties – sausage, beer and pretzels. Your third option is a guided bike tour from Regensburg to Walhalla through the spectacular scenery of the Danube Valley.
Day Seven: Sun 9th July NUREMBERG
Enjoy a scenic morning cruise as the ship crosses the Continental Divide via the Main-Danube Canal and leisurely cruises through the beautiful Altmühl Valley. This afternoon, you have a choice of three activities in Nuremberg. Take a tour of the city’s medieval highlights, including Nuremberg Castle, the 900-year-old ramparts surrounding the city, Town Hall, Notre Dame and the house of artist Albrecht Dürer, or join a WWII tour and see the Coliseum, Nazi Parade Ground and Justice Palace. Alternatively, savor traditional flavors on a Franconian Specialties tasting as you sample the famous Nuremburger Bratwurst, Rot bier and Lebkuchen. The ship moors here overnight

Q: How many performances will Show of Hands do?
A: Show of Hands will be on board from the 3rd July – 8th July during which time they will do four different concert sets. Joining them on board are Miranda Sykes and Broom Bezzums. Entertainment will be provided on board every night after dinner in the lounge and you’re free to enjoy your days at leisure either exploring on your own or taking part in one of the included excursions or simply relaxing on board.

A: Yes, there is complimentary WiFi throughout the ship
Q: What is the Dress Code?
A: This is an exclusive charter and as such the dress code will be Smart / Causal for Dinner and Casual attire during the day
There will be no black tie/formal evenings.
Q: Is there a lift on board?
A: The lift goes to the highest passenger deck but not the sun deck.
Q: What is embarkation time?
A: Passengers are allowed on board from 3pm. The ship is scheduled to sail at 21:30 on 3rd July
Q: What time is disembarkation time?
A: Passengers are expected to disembark from 9am on the final morning
Q: What is the procedure regarding gratuities?
A: Gratuities to your Cruise Manager and ship crew are not included. While the amount of these gratuities will depend upon your degree of satisfaction for services received, the ship offers the following guidelines.
For good service, we recommend 3 Euros per passenger, per day for the Cruise Manager and 12 Euros per passenger, per day for the crew, which will be divided up among the ship’s personnel. It is also customary to acknowledge a particularly good performance of a local guide by leaving a tip of 1-2 Euros per tour.
Q: What is the smoking policy?
A: Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the ship and is only permitted on the Sun Deck
Q: What amenities are in the staterooms?
A: Each stateroom is equipped with a hair dryer, plush terry bathrobes, slippers and a safe. Your bathroom offers a magnifying mirror and spa-quality toiletries including soaps, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion.
Q: Do I need a plug adapter?
A: Electricity on board all ships is 220v, with 2-pin power outlets. You will need an adapter, and/or converter depending on which electrical appliances you bring with you.
Q: Is there a gym on board?
A: There is a small gym on board and use of the equipment is at the sole risk of the user. Hours of operation vary according to the ship. There is no attendant on duty and therefore, without limitation, AmaWaterways and Enjoy Travel/Dreamcatcher Travel and its affiliates are not responsible for any injuries sustained during the use of the fitness room.
Q: Is there a laundry service on board?
A: There is a laundry service available and a price list will be in your stateroom
Q: Are excursions included?
A: A sightseeing tour is included in each city or town you visit, along with free time to explore the city according to your own interests. The sightseeing tours can take place on foot, via motor coach, or a combination of the two. Each tour is led by a qualified, licensed English-speaking local guide or your Cruise Manager. In addition to our Gentle and Active Walkers groups noted in our Health and Well-Being section, for some excursions, we have a “Late Starter” option for guests who wish to sleep in but do not want to miss key tour highlights. For those guests interested in exploring Europe from an exciting new perspective, we offer guided bicycle tours in select cities (capacity controlled). In the event of water level problems on certain stretches of the river, it may be necessary to operate part of the itinerary by motor coach or to alter the daily program as determined by the ship’s Captain.
