Enniscrone Festival Co Sligo 10th - 15th June 2012

 

 

 

 

For our fourth annual 'Welcome Home Festival' we are heading back to Enniscrone in Co Sligo. Situated in the NorthWest of Ireland this thriving seaside village has proven extremely popular with our customers over the past few years with accommodation selling out fast and more event passes sold in 2011 than ever!

 

Accommodation

The Diamond Coast Hotel will once again accommodate us and this is where all our entertainment will be however, we also have The Ocean Sands Hotel booked which is only a few minutes walk away and is equally high in standards.  These two hotels have added to the success of our Enniscrone event but, in truth it was the people themselves that made it happen.

 

Already people are talking about 2012 and we have actually taken many bookings, even though it is still months away. Many Irish people living and working in the UK found this to be a great new opportunity to return HOME for a few days. It gave them a real reason and a huge sense of purpose again. A good excuse in other words! Let me explain. Many of the people who participate on other Enjoy Travel events overseas have lived and worked in the UK since the fifties and sixties. All of them have travelled over and back to Ireland hundreds of times in the past on holidays. But was it really a holiday? In fact, it was almost always referred to as ‘going home for a few days’. And sure enough! That is what it really was, meeting up with family and friends. How often did these people go to another part of Ireland and NOT go home? The truth is rarely if ever, unless they were married to someone from another area.

Even if this is not your part of the country this time, you’ll still feel like you belong, because like every other Enjoy Travel event, you’ll be immersed in a large group of like minded people most of whom you’ll know from previous events. Visiting different parts of Ireland with friends and sharing in the enjoyment of where they come from definitely adds a whole new dimension to your Irish Holiday.

And what if you are a newcomer? Don’t worry about it. After a day or two you’ll feel like a local anyway. Every Enjoy Travel event is simply full of friends you haven’t met yet! So don’t leave it too late. Book now and join us for a great few days in June 2012.

PROGRAMME

Entertainment will commence at 2pm on Sunday 10th June (and 11am daily thereafter) and run through until 1am the following Friday morning with a few breaks in between to take some food and drink on board.
