Have you ever stopped in Llandudno on your way to or from Ireland? No! Well, you don’t know what you have been missing. I am as guilty as the next one for passing this beautiful resort by, while rushing to catch a ferry or rushing back home again to get back to work the next day. So here’s a chance to chill out for a weekend. Join the ‘CLAN’ in Llandudno and enjoy the area and the music in the company of your friends from Ireland and the UK.
As well as the music and dancing, there’s lots of great things to do and places to go in the area, like the Welsh Mountain Zoo near Colwyn Bay, or the new pottery painting studio in Llandudno, so it’s perfect for a week-end away. There are lots of historic sites too, like Conway Medieval Castle and town walls or the Great Orme’s Prehistoric copper mines or you can just stroll the prom in the afternoon or evenings and watch the world go by!
The Grand Hotel, is the venue for this weekend and is a splendid Victorian Building in
a prime location, overlooking the Promenade on the North Shore. Nestled at the foot of the Great Orme, with magnificent views out over the bay, this family hotel is a great place to run a music and dance weekend. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that emphasises friendly and hospitable service. Add to this our usual selection of top quality entertainment and we have the makings of another great weekend festival.
There are 162 en-suite bedrooms with traditional décor and modern facilities including TV and Tea & Coffee making facilities. The Premier dining room has spectacular views overlooking Llandudno Bay and serves a delicious carvery as well as a good selection for vegetarians. The main restaurant offers a more informal dining atmosphere with flexible seating times. The Connaught Bar will be a lively place for this weekend, with our own brand of session entertainment with lots of visiting musicians joining in, while the Grand Ballroom and Langtry's will cater for the ceili and social dancers.
Getting there could not be easier. Located on the main Motorway network (A55) North Wales Coast, it’s just 45 miles from Holyhead, 88 miles from Manchester, 126 from Leeds, 140 from Birmingham, 156 from Coventry 263 from London and 282 from Glasgow. It also has its own Railway station and you can change at Crewe from anywhere in the country.

Programme
The programme will commence at 4pm on Friday (day of arrival) and 11am on Saturday and Sunday and run through each day until 1am. With a few breaks in between for food and drink and a bit of sleep!! So it’s Sun, Sand, Sea, Sets and Social dancing and all the other nice things associated with an Enjoy Travel Holiday. What’s included:
