After the outstanding success of our first “Welcome Home” Country and Irish Music and Dance Festival in Enniscrone, County Sligo, we were inundated with requests to do it again in 2010.  So here we are!  It’s a great excuse to go home for a few days, and if you’ve never been on an Enjoy Travel event before you’ll soon realise that our events are full of friends you just haven’t met yet.

This is a recently built high quality venue and we have reserved the whole hotel for the festival.  Already, dozens of people have booked from the 2009 event and we know that every night hundreds of local visitors will participate as they did before.  They come to meet friends and relatives, to mingle and to enjoy the music and dancing.  So get your booking in now and we’ll see you there!

 

Enniscrone or Iniscrone – an Irish conundrum

No one seems to be able to answer this effectively.  If you drive in from Ballina it reads one way but drive in from the Easkey side and it’s spelt differently.  Whichever way you arrive you are guaranteed to have a great time!

 

With a mild year round climate, beautiful scenery, lakes, mountains, river and sea fishing, golfing, horse riding and even an internationally renowned seaweed baths, Enniscrone has it all!  You can surf in between the set-dancing and waltz. Oh! And in case you were wondering, the different spellings?  One is English and the other is Irish! Simple really!

 

Programme

Entertainment will commence at 14:00 on Sunday 13^th June (and 11:00 each day thereafter) and run through until 01:00 on the following Friday morning, with a few breaks in between for food and sleep.  Yes! It’s SUN, SAND and SEAWEED BATHS!  All the way.  And BIG holiday prizes to be won as well.

 

There is no increase in price from last year.  However, due to popular request we have extended the event by an extra day and we have added that cost in at the same rate as last year.

 

Please note that flights are not included because there are very good deals available from the UK through the various low cost carriers.
